Daily Nonpareil Council Bluffs IA Aug 9th, 2004 Margaret M. Wilcoxen, 89, of Missouri Valley died Aug. 7 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley. She was born July 26, 1915, in Missouri Valley to Amzie and Matilda (Kraft) Bonham. She previously lived in Omaha, moving to Missouri Valley three years ago. She was a dietician at Jennie Edmundson Hospital for 10 years and a member of Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy L. "Bud" Wilcoxen, in 1991; and a daughter, Mary Snipes. She is survived by six daughters, Opal Carter of Omaha, Patti Umble and husband, Bill, of Omaha, Wyonia Clark of Omaha, Karen Skow and husband, Duane, of Council Bluffs, Sharon Durham and husband, Bumper, of Council Bluffs and Carol Renager of Council Bluffs; seven sons, Leland Wilcoxen and wife, Barb, of Missouri Valley, Larry Wilcoxen and wife, Mary, of Council Bluffs, Lloyd Wilcoxen and wife, Bonnie, of Omaha, Fred Wilcoxen and wife, Paulette, of Tulsa, Okla., Ronnie Wilcoxen and wife, Diane, of Minden, Gary Wilcoxen and wife, Karen, of Council Bluffs and David Wilcoxen and wife, Christy, of Council Bluffs; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Lane of Missouri Valley, Elsie Harrold and Marcella Fern. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Duane Skow, son-in-law, and Rich Richie officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with a lunch following at the Good News Worship Center. Memorials may be offered to Alzheimer's Association.
