Brenden was the son of Kenneth E. and Charlene (Harder) Kuhns. He was born Feb. 5, 2000 and was a 1st Grader in the Life Skills Class at West Harrison School. Brenden enjoyed music and loved people talking to him. He touched the lives of everyone that met him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Harder and paternal grandfather, Paul Kuhns. Survivors include: his parents, Kenneth and Charlene, Little Sioux; sisters, Krista Melton and her husband, David, and their children, Trevin Melton, Kyle Melton, and Kadee Melton, all of Wentworth, Mo.; Keri MayBee and her husband, Daniel, Little Sioux; Kacee Kuhns, Kayley Kuhns, Kayla Kuhns, all of Little Sioux; brothers, Chad Kuhns, Paul Kuhns, Clark Kuhns, Jermayne Kuhns, all of Little Sioux; Craig Kuhns of South Carolina; maternal grandfather, Jacob S. Harder, Butterfield, Minn.; paternal grandmother, Charlotte Kuhns, ! Omaha; biological parents, Brian Briggs and Esther Myers; and paternal grandmother, Cindy Briggs. Funeral Servicaes were held Feb. 28 at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home, Missouri Valley, Pastors Curt Kuhns and Dr. Stan Udd, officiants. Vocalists were the David Melton Family and Keri MayBee. Honorary Bearers were: Kyle Melton, Daniel MayBee, Trevin Melton, Kadee Melton, David Melton, and Jermayne Kuhns. Casket Bearers were: Chad Kuhns, Craig Kuhns, Paul Kuhns, and Clark Kuhns.
