The Daily Nonpareil 2/27/2007. Donald A. Hope, age 47, of Carter Lake, Iowa, passed away February 25, 2007 at his home. Don was born October 23, 1959, in Denver, Colo. He was a steel fitter for Paxson-Vierling Steel Co. for 21 years retiring in 2005 due to a disability. Don was preceded in death by his father John Hope and stepfather, John Wisnieski. He is survived by his wife of 2 years, Deborah (Davis) Hope, of Carter Lake; sons, Daniel Hope and friend, Lynn Yates, of Omaha, Neb., Dylan Hope, of Carter Lake; mother, Nancy Wisnieski, of Omaha; grandsons, Ethan Hope and Jacob Hughes; stepson, Shawn Hughes and wife, Erica, of Missouri Valley; brother, Scott Hope and wife, Carmen, of Rexburg, Idaho; stepsisters, Mary Baji and husband, Mark, of Bellevue, Neb., Emily Riley and husband, Mike, of Papillion, Neb., Georgene Spiecher, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; special friend, "Maggie" the pug; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation with the Family, Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral Service, Friday, 10:00 a.m. Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Aaron Simons, pastor officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery with a lunch following at the church. The family will direct memorials.
