Survivors include his wife, Mary Birdsall of Mondamin; daughter, Kathryn Jean of Missouri Valley, Iowa; son, David Wayne of Cherry Point, NC; grandson, Kaleb of Missouri Valley; mother, Rosina Dick of Mondamin; sister, Denise Lingren of Mondamin; brothers, Bryce Birdsall and wife Deb of Min- neapolis, MN, Brian Birdsall and wife Carol of Mondamin; favorite mother-in-law, Joyce Johnston of Modale, Iowa; special uncles, Jim Birdsall of Modale, and Doyle Knadle of Mondamin. Memorial Service Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, 1 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Missouri Valley. No viewing will be held as his body was cremated.
