She was found in an apartment complex by her husband. Harrison County received a call shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday reporting that the woman had been found dead. Her body was taken to the Douglas County Coroner's Office for an autopsy. The Sheriff's office is not releasing the woman's name or cause of death as it continues to investigate. Missouri Valley Police and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are both involved in the case. The woman's name and other details were not being released as of early this morning. According to the officer, the body was found about 3 a.m. in a house that has been converted into apartments located near downtown. The Harrison County Sheriff's Office and Division of Criminal Investigations are assisting in the investigation. Bonnie Kirchhevel, 54, of Missouri Valley, was found by her husband in the apartment they shared, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office said. An autopsy found no evidence of foul play in the death, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office said. Kirchhevel's husband found her and reported the death shortly after 3 a.m., the Sheriff's Office said.
