Shannon, 79, Wayne, N.J., formerly of Logan, died July 31 in Wayne. Max Earl Shannon was born Dec. 1, 1926 in Logan to Lee and Blanche (Vun Kannon) Shannon. He served with the United States Marine Corps. during World War II. Max worked with Coldwell Bankers for many years as a real estate agent in the Wayne, N.J. area. Max was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Harold and Albert. Survivors include: his wife, Marianne, Wayne, N.J.; daughter, Mary Ann Lewis and her husband, Bill, Mondamin; grandchildren, Robert, Tom, Eric, Duane and Colleen; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Willis Shannon, Gilmore City. Graveside Services were held Aug. 24 at the Logan Cemetery, Pastor Tom Lewis, officiant. Logan Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
