Roy was born July 2, 1958, to Roy and Jeanette (Kell) Wachner in Bellevue, Neb. He attended Tri-Center High. After high school he served in the United States Air Force. He lived in Missouri Valley, Iowa, for 15 years; he resided in Council Bluffs. Roy was preceded in death by father, step-father, Willard James, sister; Page James and brother, Richard Wachner. Roy will be sadly missed by mother, Caroline Jeanette James, brothers: Randy and Regan Wachner, sisters: Michelle Renee Gaffney, Martie Chauvin and husband, Roger, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be 8:30am to 10:30am, Wednesday with a Celebration of Life funeral service following at 10:30 a.m. at Henry~Livingston Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Neola Cemetery.
