The Daily Nonpareil 1/7/2007 Lila V. Short, age 85 of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence "Skip" Short of Missouri Valley; sons, Dennis Short and wife Pat of Omaha, NE, Douglas Short and wife Donna Missouri Valley; daughter, Sherida Goshorn and husband Ron of Ames, Iowa; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Funeral Service 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley. Final resting place in Rose Hill Memorial Garden in Missouri Valley.
