Vining Robert Sumner Vining, was born December 28,1868, five miles southwest of Dunlap, and die December 23, 1923, aged 54 years, 11 months and 17 days. He was the youngest son of Mr.and Mrs. A. B. Vining, who formerly lived near Dunlap, later moving to Woodbine, where his father preceded him to the great beyond. The deceased is survived by two brothers, Myron H. of Waterloo, and Albert R.; two sisters, Mary L. Atherton of Missouir Valley, and Mrs. Charles Atherton of Ontario, Oregon, with whom the mother has resided for the past eight years. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church Tuesday monring, being in charge of the Rev. H. G. Parker. Burial was made in the Woodbine cemetery. -- Woodbine Twiner.
