Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at the Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley with Father Bob Harris officiating. Final resting place was Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Missouri Valley. Military honors were conducted by Julius F. Muller American Legion Post #337 of Missouri Valley. Rebecca was born June 2, 1949 in Omaha, Neb., to Joseph and Anna Marie Gunderson (Porter) Dunivan. She graduated from Missouri Valley High School. Rebecca served as a nurse in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. She enjoyed art, painting, and sculpting. Survivors include her husband Jim of Persia; daughters Rene Neun of Council Bluffs, Rhonda Redden of Omaha, Neb., Rochelle Cripe of Genoa, Ill., Jolena Haun of Persia; mother Anna Marie Gunderson of Missouri Valley; grandchildren Nicholas, Xander, Dakota, Dalton, Tristan and Hanna. Rebecca was preceded in death by her father Joe, brother Dennis and grandson Dillon.
