Daily Nonpareil Council Bluffs IA July 7th, 2004 Leanna K. McDonald, 59, of Council Bluffs died July 5 at home. She was born Oct. 18, 1944, in Missouri Valley to Guy and Hazel Heistand. She moved to Council Bluffs 40 years ago. She was a hanger at Max I. Walker Cleaners in Omaha for the past 15 years. She was an avid bingo player and helped raise wild game with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Clarence McDonald, of Council Bluffs; daughter, Kathy Ann McDonald of Omaha; son, David Lee McDonald of Council Bluffs; brothers, Gerald Heistand of Logan and Robert Heistand and wife, Doris, of Cherokee; sisters, Helen and Delores. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Ridgewood Cemetery with the Rev. E.A. Hering officiating. Family and friends are to meet at the mortuary for the cortege to the cemetery.
