Daily Nonpareil Council Bluffs IA July 21st, 2004 Donna Belle Levell, 62, of Carter Lake died July 19 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. She was born May 21, 1942, in Magnolia to William and Olive (Fox) Rhoten. She graduated in 1960 from Magnolia High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Carter Lake Baptist Church. Mrs. Levell and her husband, Marvin Levell Sr., were married 38 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Doris Konz and Clara Magnuson; brothers, Roy and Glen Rhoten. Survivors in addition to her husband include sons, Marvin Levell Jr. and Kenneth Levell and wife, Laura, all of Carter Lake, Thomas Levell and friend Mark Edmondson of Council Bluffs; and Justin Levell of Carter Lake; six grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Fitzgerald and Agnes Hart and husband, Robert, all of Jacksonville, Fla., Mary Keeven and husband, John, of Cassville, Mo., and Betty Ball and husband, Jim, of Ft. Calhoun, Neb.; brothers, Jim Rhoten and wife, Vel, of Vasser, Mich., Tom Rhoten and wife, Bev, of Capelosis Crossing, Wash., Lyle Rhoten and wife, Ellen, of Omaha, Rex Rhoten and wife, Janet, Paul Rhoten and wife, Shelly, all of Magnolia; stepdaughter, Denise McDuffie and husband, Jim, of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Wodoring Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Hayes of Carter Lake Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with a lunch following at Magnolia Methodist Church. Memorials may be offered to Magnolia Protestant Cemetery Foundation.
