Richey Logan Herald-Observer, Logan, IA 51546 Woodbine Twiner, Woodbine, IA 51579 10/04/2006 Forrest A. Richey, 90, of Hendersonville passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2006. He was a North Carolina resident since 1979. He was a native of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and formerly resided in Brevard; Woodbine, Iowa, and Rochester, N.Y., before moving to Hendersonville. He was the son of the late Alve Richey and Agnes Pugsley Richey. He was a 1939 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in chemical engineering. He married his beloved wife, Millicent F. O'Banion Richey in Rochester, N.Y., on Feb. 21, 1941. He was employed by Eastman Kodak as a chemical engineer for 37 years, retiring in 1976. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Forrest A. Richey Jr. of Charleston, W.Va., and Thomas H. Richey of Rochester, N.Y.; a brother, King A. Richey of Lincoln, Neb.; and two granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth Jackman of Jackson, Tenn. and Angela K. Wright of Charleston, W.Va. No service is planned.
