"Sally" Fitzgerald of Council Bluffs at Southside Christian Church in Council Bluffs. Rev. Gary Hollers, Pastor, officiated. Interment was made in Bethel Cemetery at Logan, Iowa. Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs was in charge of arrangements. Marcella, daughter of George and Viola Armstrong, was born October 15, 1922 in Council Bluffs. She graduated from Dunlap Public High School with the class of 1941. She was a devoted Christian and was a Sunday school teacher at Southside Christian Church. Marcella died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 29 days. Sally is survived by her husband of 64 years, Raymond of Council Bluffs; daughter, Cindy Rae Fitzgerald of Boyden, Iowa; son, Rodney and wife Sandra of Valley, Neb.; grandchildren, James and Kenneth Fitzgerald, Tricia Lanning; and seven great-grandchildren.
