Pearl was born October 20, 1918 to Luther and Bertha (Ahart) Piper. She was a member of the Midwestern Baptist Church and also attended the Open Door Baptist Church. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; son, Merrill LaGene Lantry; two brothers; and one sister. Pearl will be sadly missed by her children, Gerald, Doug, David, Myrna Tankersley and Shelda Lantry; numerous grandchildren; sister, Pauline O'Dell; brother, Junior Piper; and host of niece, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Henry-Livingston Funeral Home. Celebration of life funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Woodbine, IA.
