The deceased was born in New Jersey in 1822, and came west in 1861, stopping in Omaha, Neb., in which place he remained until 1864 when he moved to this county and settled on a large farm near Modale, where he continued to reside until his health begain to fail him, and last year he concluded to leave the farm and moved to this city, having bought the beautiful home of B.
