He married Nioma. She as born January 16, 1822 in Ohio and died Jan. 19, 1907. Looking at your dates there is a chance that you Thomas P. Thornton could possibly be an Uncle I'm guessing to my John Thornton. My great grandmother John's daughter was born Oct. 12, 1855 in Nebraska, died April 2, 1925 Havana, Chautauqua County, Kansas.
