    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ok.2ADE/1949.1.4.1 Message Board Post: I think my first post indicated there was NO "genealogy book" - at least none that I knew of. There are two county histories, each of which includ biographical sketches on the prominent citizens of the day. I've taken most of that information, along with Walter Farwell's posts to this board, census data from several years, family records from other web sites, the Fremont County Cemetery Records book, the obits transcribed by Cay Merriman (posted on the "Our Corner" website, etc. and combined it all into what I call my Fremont County Genealogical Database. It has 7,717 marriages and 23,419 names in it today. The thing I enjoy doing is seeing a daugther in a family being referred to as "Mrs. X" and then linking her to her husband's family, getting a view of the inter-marriage of the county's families. I used to have it posted to my Kate Morgan website (a girl from Hamburg who is said to haunt the famous Hotel del Coronado in San Diego), but I took the site down last year because it didn't seem to get many hits. I wish I could distribute the GEDCOM file, but it's over 8 megs, and my Yahoo e-mail service won't send or receive anything over 1.5. Maybe some day I'll buy a CD burner so I can distribute it to people who are interested in the data it contains. I'm always happy to look up information for people, though.

    3. Might you have any information on John Thomas and Sarah Woolsey from Fremont County? I would appreciate anything you might have. Thank you. ----- Original Message ----- From: <girardta@yahoo.com> To: <IAFREMON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, January 19, 2003 12:51 PM Subject: Re: Fremont County Genealogy Book > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ok.2ADE/1949.1.4.1 > > Message Board Post: > > I think my first post indicated there was NO "genealogy book" - at least none that I knew of.
