Surnames: Dailey, Ricker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ok.2ADE/2028 Message Board Post: Looking for info on Abner Dailey or John Dailey who appear in the 1870 Fremont County census index. John was my gg-grandfather and I know he had a brother named Abner. John and his wife Margaret (Ricker) lived in Fremont county from 1862 to 1875 and buried three children there (Charlotte, Charles and George). According to the census index, John lived in Franklin and Abner lived in Hamburg. The obituary of John's son says he was born in Hamburg. I've searched the Fremont county GenWeb and didn't come up with anything except the mentions in the census index. If anyone could give me the details from the 1870 cenus I'd really appreciate it. Something else I have says that John arrived in Pottawatomie County Kansas with his brother George so George may have been in Abner or John's household at this time.
