Sept.30, 1910.--QUITE A SURPRISE.--Tuesday, September 10, was one of the days in Grandma Story's life long to be remembered--not only by herself, but also by many of her good friends and neighbors in Prairie township. Little did Grandma know what the good people in her neighborhood had planned for her until all at once, like a tornado coming up in the month of July, they swarmed into her house like so many bees, each and every one bringing a basket or other receptacle filled with good things to eat--and all because it was the lady's 75 birthday. After all had partaken of thes deliacies, Mrs. Story was presented with 69 postcards sent her by friends and neighbors, the presenttion being made by Misses Maude Chapman and Lettie Malcom.
