King (Oct. 18, 1836 - Oct. 7, 1903);md. Margare5t A.Black (Sept. 6, 1840 - Jan. 2, 1908). He was a Civil War veteran, having served in Co. "A", 151st Ill. Infantry. Lived in Locust Grove township. Buried at Farragut, Iowa. Children: (As far as known): 1. Mary Lucy, b. Sept. 12, 1878 - d. 1945; md. William F. Bangs, b. Nov., 17, 1874 - d. Oct. 29, 1935; md. on Aug. 3, 1898. Bur. Locust Grove cemetery. Son of John F. and Minnie (Rangdon) Bangs. 2. David,md. Nora May Brown on Oct. 7, 1901. Son of W.W. Brown of Madison township. 3. Mattie B., md. Bernie Phillipps at her home on Feb. 28, 1897. Son of Denton and Nancy (Heywood) Phillipps.
