Harris County Texas (Houston) has a population of 3,693,050 and its message board has 5,014 posts. Fremont County has a population of 7,734 and has 6,662 posts - Walter is responsible for 4,563 of them !! For all of you who visit this board, take a moment and thank your lucky stars Walter was born in Fremont County and has generously shared his wealth of information with us all. Thanks, Walter.

I want to express my thanks to Walter Farewell too. A few years ago, Walter took some of his personal time to do some research in Fremont Co records and construct an outline of a family tree for my STEVENS and KRYGER families. His help provided the first major breakthrough we had in searching for those ancestors, and the details and clues that he added made it possible for me to trace those long gone from this world, as well as to connect with some great living descendants who are my distant 'cousins'. I doubt that I would ever have been able to piece together the fragments from different families if he hadn't done that for me. I know that not every Rootsweb list is blessed with a Walter Farwell, but I'm very thankful that IAFREMON is, and want to publicly acknowledge how helpful he has been to me and so many others.
