September 17, 1908. "Mrs. Acord Visits Sidney".-- Mrs. Nancy Acord, of Salt Lake City, is visiting friends and relatives in Sidney and vicinity. Mrs. Acord was a member of the party who left Fremont county in 1860. They traveled overland and reached Salt Lake City after many hardships. Her father S. B. Frost was sheriff of this county for two terms. He owned the old hotel where the Crozier House now stands. He also lived on the farm now owned by G. S. Benson. N.B.: The next issue of the SUN contained an account of this emigrating party, and this article has been posted here on Rootsweb. Also, Mabel Bridges compiled notes on her father Samuel Buchanan Frost and these notes also have been posted on this site......And don't overlook the statement that Frost lived on the farm which was owned by G. S. Benson in 1908. Research in the Sidney Court House would probably reveal the exact location of this farm.--W.F.
