He began work on Wednesday.--SUN of Oct. 22, 1908 --M. O. lnman is going to build a new home three miles east of Anderson, in Prairie township.--SUN of Oct. 15, 1908 -- KERN: The SUN of July 16, 1908 has a column about John Worth Kern, running mate of William Jennings Bryan. (N.B.: Kern was a cousin of the Liggett's living in Sidney......Before reading this sketch, let me remind you that A. L.Chantry--a Republican as far as his politics were concerned--had taken over the SUN in June 1908. Kern was a Democrat; need I say more?) --W.F. -- Ed King purchased the "Lake House" and is fitting it up for the Independent Telephone Office.--"Riverton News", SUN of Oct. 22, 1908. (N.B.: I seem to think the "Lake House" was a hotel. Landrith lives at Burlington, Washington.--SUN of Oct. 15, 1908 --John Samuels is building an eight-room house in Riverton.--SUN of Sept. 17, 1908 (N.B.: If you would like to know if this home is yet standing, go the Sidney Court House, find the Deed Book for Riverton and look for John Samuel's purchase of this lot.
