January 26, 1928. "WALNUT GIRLS ORGANIZE".-- The 4 - H club girls of Walnut township met Saturday afternoon at the home of their leader, Mrs. Walter Gee, for the purpose of organizing. Officers elected were: Ardath McMahon, president; Alice Anderzohn, vice president; Arlene Moody, secretary - treasurer. Hallie Shearer and Dorothy Eskew were selected to act as reporters, and the program committee is made up of the three chief officers and Hallie kShearer. Next meeting will be on February 18, and will be held at Miss Shearer's home.
