Dr John Scott born in Limerick, Ireland 1800 from Carmel, VA married Sarah Ann Durbin 1838, in Lewis County, MO. They had the following children John Randolph Scott born 1839, Isabella Scott, Janette Scott, Robert Emett Scott born 1848. This family is seen in the 1840 and 1850 Census of Lewis County, MO. From the 1860 Census, only my John Randolph is in Lewis County, MO residing with the Lane family which is a couisn to his soon to be wife, Louisa H Dougherty. John and Louisa had 12 children from there union and also use the name Lane as a middle name for 2 of thier male children. Researching the LDS site I find that a Robert Scott born MO 1848 resided in Fremont during the 1880 Census with wife Louisa, and daughter Nancy age 2. (I know these are not the same Louisa's) Do you see any connections? Thks Christopher Sterling Scott
