Maiden name of Elizabeth Griffin. She came to Fremont vacinity in 1875 making her 33 years of age at that time. She was married to Joshua in Chillicothie Mo. 1864 where 3 children were born before coming to Iowa. This information is confirmed in the Chillicothie Mo census and the Hamburg Reporter papers of June 22, 1926, and June 11, 1925.
