June 25, 2009. "Clarold Rogers died June 8, in Omaha". -- Memorial services for Clarold Rogers, 88, of Glenwood, IA, will be held in December. Mr. Rogers died June 8, 2009, in Omaha, NE. Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood is in charge of arrangements. Clarold E. Rogers was born July 12, 1920, in Percival, IA, to Arthur C. and Opal Maude (Bicknell) Rogers. He graduated from Tabor High School and earned his bachelor and law degrees from the University of Iowa. He was united in marriage to Ada Christel Schaaf on December 20, 1942, in Randolph, IA. They had three children, Clarold, Jr., Rebecca and Keith. He practiced law in Washington,D.C., before moving to Glenwood in 1965, when he became a partner with L. T. Genung, which became Genung and Rogers Law Firm. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed attending as many family events as possible. Preceding him in death were his parents,wife Christel in 2008, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his children, Clarold,Jr. and Linda Rogers of Atlanta, GA, Rebecca (Rogers) and Douglas Kadel of Omaha, NE, and Keith and Tamara Rogers of Portland, OR; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Other survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law Ardis Rogers of Percival, Keith and Carolyn Schaaf of Randolph, Agusta and Don Sheldon of Percival, Stanley and Shirley Schaaf of Randolph, Hawley and Norma Schaaf of Sidney, other relatives and friends.
