August 5, 1917; married on Dec. 26, 1883 in Fremont county, Iowa. Buried (1) at Tabor / at Mt. Zion (?). She was the daughter of Joseph M. and Mary (Crawford) Drake.....A news item dated Feb. 5, 1903 says he was employed to cut and load ice "as he is well equipped for such work". (SEE posting on this board entitled "The Ice Man" dated 28 Sept. 2003.).....In 1895 and 1900, they lived in Greene township, Fremont county, Iowa....July 27, 1944: Ida Jane (Drake) Stoddard's children are named as heirs of Martha L. Daughter of John F. and Emma (Cordell) Barrett. She married (2) Edward N. Earith. Buried at Mt. Zion, Green township. (TABOR BEACON, Jan. 4, 1912: Mrs. Ola Stoddard sells out 1 1/2 miles south of Mt. Zion Church.) 3. Joseph Perry, b. Jan. 31, 1889 in Nebraska -d. May 10, 1964; married Minnie Goldie Carnes, b. Oct. 11, 1892 at Griggsville, Ill - died June 8, 1985; married Oct. 11, 1911. Daughter of Louis and Rachel (Spicer) Carnes. Buried at Shenandoah. In 1925 lived at Tabor. 5. Lloyd Henry, b. Apr. 27, 1892 -d. June 29, 1945; married Mary Eva Barrett, b. July 14, 1892 at Maryville, Missouri - died Dec. 28, 1977; married on Sept. 26, 1911. Daughter of John and Carolyn Anna (Cordell) Barrett. Buried at Mt.Zion southeast of Tabor. In 1925 lived in Greene township. 6. Raymond Vernon, b. Feb. __, 1895 -d. ____ __, ____. Unmarried in 1944. In 1925 lived at Tabor. 7. Mary Blanche, b. Oct. 24 1897 - d. Sept. 17, 1979; married George Roy Madison, b. ____ __,____ - d. ____ __, 1958; married on Dec. 24, 1918. 8. William M., b. Apr. 22, 1899 - d. Oct. 12, 1971; married (1) Marie Bernice Ruth, b. May 13, 1902 at Ellston, Iowa - d. Feb. 26, 1937; married on Dec. 23, 1919. Daughter of Wildred and Dimmme (Juliete?) Ruth. Buried at Shenandoah. ..On July 27, 1944 his wife was Jennie ___?___.....In 1925, they lived in Walnut township, Fremont county. (Late in the 1930's, I attended a WMP 4-H club meeting at this home, which was west of Shenandoah just off the highway, and west across the road from Morning Star country school.--W.F.)
