January 24, 1929. "Thurman News".--Maxine Johnson, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson, was married Wednesday evening to Alvin Hall at the parsonage of the Christian church in Tabor. They were entertained at dinner the same evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Nichols, relatives of the bride, who had witnessed the ceremony. The bride was born and reared in this community. She attended school until this year when she remained at home to assist her mother with the house work. With her practical knowledge and ability, she is quite capable of taking care of a home of her own. Mr. Hall, whose home was in Nebraska up until a few years ago, came to this community to work on a farm, and by his integrity has won many friends. May they have a long and properous life.
