T. A. Kinny is her son. --Apr. 7, 1904 Elizabeth Anna (Conrad) Kline, born in Panora, Guthrie Co., Iowa on July 1, 1861 - died at her home in Glenwood on Jan. 22, 1900 aged 38 y. 5 m. 21 d.; married at Malvern Nov. 28, 1878 to L. F. Kline. Three years later moved to Randolph where they lived for 8 years; moved to Sidney when elected county recorder and lived here 8 years. Moved to Malvern 2 years ago. Eight children born, seven surviving: five boys and two girls. Her mother, four brothers and two sisters also survive. Buried at Sidney Samuel Knight died Thursday aged 68 years 5mo; his wife, Mary Ann, died Saturday aged 78 years. Buried at Farragut. --Mar. 24, 1904 (WPA records: "S. G. Knight died Mar. 17, 1904. Civil War veteran.") Pauline Kraschel married Leo Drake who died Apr. 27, 1975 at Tracy, CA. Buried there. Mrs. Euphelia Laber, an old soldier's widow, died Friday. --Buried Protestant Cem., Imogene. -- Jan. 11, 1900 Jeptha D. Lacy, born Christian county, KY on July 15, 1823 - d. Sidney Dec. 19, 1904; married Sarah A. Stone in Illinois in 1849. (1 and 2) Two children died in infancy; (3) Theodore (4) Emma (5) Mrs. M. E. Liggett. He was an old settler; buried at Sidney. (N.B.: The Lacy Grove neighborhood northwest of Sidney was named after his father, George Lacy. --W.F.) Eldon S. Lair married Mabel Smith: Their children - (1) Virgil Everett, b. July 28, 1918 near Hamburg - died FEb. 19, 1982 in Miami, Florida; married June 14, 1945 to Yoeman First Class Mildred Dyrdahl of Kenyon, Minn. (2) Delbert, deceased; (3) Martin, deceased; (4) Ross, deceased; (5) Mrs. Marjorie Wright, Miami, Florida; (6) Wade Lair of Hamburg. Mrs. Addie Lamb, daughter of Myron Flemings, died in Burlington last Saturday; buried at Riverton. Leaves husband and 3 small children. -- Aug. 28, 1902 Basil Laport, born and raised in Ohio, died Mar. 15, 1900 aged 82 years 1 month; married Miss Roberts; had 4 girls and 2 boys. Came to Fremont county in 1858; wife died about 5 years ago. He was one of 14 children. Buried at Sidney. (1) Macannis Laport of Bradshaw, Nebr.; (2) Mrs. E. A. Travis of Sidney; (3 - 6) Deceased. (WPA records: B. Layport 2/11/1818 - 3/22/1900; Nancy Layport 12/18/1818 - 3/21/1095.)
