Buried at Locust Grove Cem. C. Floyd Holliman, 86, (a WWI veteran) of Prescott, AZ - died June 3, 1981; buried at Mesa, AZ; widow Ruth. A son Fred lives at Baker, LA, and a daughter Helen Tooker at Roseville, CA. Mrs. Abigail Hoon nee Toliver, born in Tippiconoe county, Indiana 62 years ago - died Monday in Riverton. Married John Hoon 44 years ago; parents of four boys and four girls, six of whom are yet living. Have lived in Fremont county 15 years; buried at Rock Port, MO. -- Oct. 1, 1903 August 1, 1903: Riverton. -- John Hoon received word Wednesday morning of the severe illness of his son Albert at Rock Port, MO....Their son died before their arrival. His death was caused by appendicitis. Mrs. P. H. Hoop is a niece of Rev. Samuel Farlow of Milo, Iowa.-- FREMONT COUNTY SUN of May 15, 1902 Mrs. John Horsley, born at Soham, Cambridgeshire, England on Nov. 20, 1825 - died Oct. 17, 1902 at Percival; married John Horsley on Mar. 22, 1850; came to New York, U.S. in March 1852; lived in Kane co., IL for 8 years; to Sidney in 1858. Buried at Grandview Cemetery. Husband, two sisters (Mrs. David Hills and Mrs. Ann Hackett of Sidney); two brothers Richard and John Peacock of Whitewater, Wisconsin. FREMONT COUNTY SUN of Aug. 17, 1899: -- P. H. Hoop, adm'r. of the estate of Pearson Hosier, dec'd., plaintiff - VS - John Hosier, Elizabeth Greenlee, Wm. C. Smith, Pearson D. Smith, Harley Smith and Robert H. Smith, Hardin H. Smith, and Bessie E. Smith as minors.... Mrs. H. W. Howard died two miles south of Tabor on Saturday aged over 70 years. Leaves husband, 3 sons and a daughter. -- Tabor, Apr. 30, 1903 V. T. Hudson married Ida __?__: (1) a dau. Fannie Bell, born June 22, 1889 at Watson, MO - d. Apr. 6, 1981 at Grape Comm. Hosp.; buried at Tabor; married William Clyde Vanatta of Tabor, Iowa on Jan. 8, 1913; farmed southwest of Tabor; Doris Greenwood of Thurman and Merna Forney of Tabor are daughter; Darrell Vanatta of Tabor who married Dorothy is a son; (2) Leona Christian of Reed Spring, MO.; (3) Lee Hudson, dec'd.; (4) Henry Hudson, dec'd.; (5) Luther Hudson of Watson, MO; (6) Ernest Hudson of Farragut, Iowa. Mr. Hunt of Tabor fell from a tree and died of injuries last week.-- Aug. 29, 1901 The little nine-year old son of Robert Hurst died at the Glenwood Institute last Saturday with lung fever and was buried in the Randolph cemetery Sunday. --Randolph, March 8, 1900. Stella M. Hutsell, 64, died Nov. 13, 1981 at Hamburg; married Wilbur Lewis. Paul Hutsell of Rock Port is a brother; Herbert Lewis of Red Oak is a son; Mrs. Guy (Marilyn) Scott of Urbandale, Iowa is a daughter.
