My notes seem to agree with Keith! My notes say that Daniel S. Taylor (born May 14, 1837 in Franklin county, Ark) married Sarah Kirk (born Dec. 21, 1842 -d. Sept. 10, 1873)-- and -- were the parents of Annie C. Taylor who married Dr. W. H. Parkhurst at Hamburg on June 26, 1884. Dr. Parkhurst was the son of Roland T. and Lucy (Cellers) Parkhurst. When the Hamburg Reporter of Sept. 19, 1996 carried an article about the deplorable condition of some on the grave stones in the Hamburg Cemetery, it illustrated the article with a picture of the tomb stone of D. S. Taylor, saying the stone said he had died in 1878. To add to the confusion, my post "No. 267: Pieces of the Biographical Puzzle" included the mere statement that D. S. Taylor and his brother T. F. Taylor of Florence, Kansas, had not seen each other for 44 years. I had no dates for this note, nor even the source. A reply to "No. 267.." said that elucidation would be appreciated! Well, I'm going to start looking into this enigma! Any help would be appreciated. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
