Mrs. Buron (Elva) DAshner, a former Randolph resident, died Wednesday in Durango, CO; funeral to be in Glenwood. -- August 28, 1980. Mrs. Marie (Davis) Morrison, 82, died June 4, 1981 in Sturgis, S.D. Her mother was a Spratlin, a pioneer Sidney family. John Fletcher Dorsey, born at Canton, Ill., on Oct.10, 1947 - died Sept. 10, 1904. Leaves wife and a son, Roy Dorsey. Buried at Farragut. James Amy, son of R. J. Amy, died Saturday; was married one year ago to Miss Egbert; buried at Council Bluffs. --Hamburg, May 12, 1904 Samuel Elder, born County Derry (County Londonderry), Ireland, on June 25, 1932 - died at Clarinda Jan. 20, 1901. Had been a resident of Fremont county since 1865; buried at Sidney (?). Miss Emma Elder died last week in Utah. Buried in Rector Cemetery near Knox; leaves widowed mother, brothers and sisters. -- Nov. 15, 1900 "Uncle" Asa FAll, aged 92 years, died at Walla Walla, WA; had settled in Fremont county in 1853; wife died here; he went to Walla Walla in 1874. -- April 12, 1900 E. Riggle died Sunday aged 70 years; buried at Thurman; he was one of the founders of Thurman Christian Church; was a pioneer of Fremont county; he was a brother-in-law of W. F. Ferrel of Walnut township. (1) A son is a harness dealer in Thurman; (2) A son is a business man in Woodbine, Iowa.-- May 28, 1903 Mrs. Edith Finley Venters died in Linden, CA, a week ago yesterday. Daughter of Will Finley. -- Farragut, Mar. 19, 1903 J. R. Fisher of Farragut, Iowa: A son Archie Fisher married Virginia Johnson, dau. of Teff Johnson of Sidney. Their children: (1) Thomas Allen Fisher, b. FEb. 27, 1943 -d. Mar. __, 1981; married Carol Wallacek in 1964; buried at Sidney. (2) Kennis of Sidney; (3) Mary Sue Hines of Tucson, AZ; (4) Janet Williams of Tucson, AZ. Virginia (Fitchette) Churchill, 73 died Dec. 13, 1981 at Lakewood, CO; was a graduate of Hamburg in 1926.
