"Andy" Anderson, son of Art and Geneva Anderson, aged 67 years, died Nov. 7, 1985 in Fremont, Nebr.; his body was donated to science; his wife Peggy is deceased, as is his sister Edith. George H. Anderson, 86, has died. Was born in Granite, CO; widow Faye; buried at Tabor. His sister Mildred Dietz lives at Little Falls, Minnesota.-- Paper of Feb. 3, 1988 The Jim Athen's celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in March 1944. Ray Athen died Oct. 13, 1983 aged 94; buried in Shenandoah; married (2) Mrs. Anna (McVay) Gearheart. Earl Athen of Hamburg and Mrs. Mae Farley of Hamburg are siblings. Jonathan Bailey, 86, died Nov. 14, 1916. buried at Shenandoah beside wife Eurania Lodeska Walker who died six years ago. Their son A. B. Bailey of Farragut died Nov. 23, 1916. James L. Bailey, 61, a veteran of W. W. II, died May 1, 1985 at Winigan, Missouri; widow Verna Mae. Buried at Hamburg. Mrs. Bain of near Oakland is a sister of Mrs. J.N. Penn of Sidney. -- Sept. 27, 1900 paper. Russell Robert Barker, son of D.C. Barker, was born Aug. 29, 1926. -- Sidney item. (N.B.: About 1940, one Russell Barker was a sixth grader at Sidney. -- W.F.) Ellis Broughton, 90, died July 6, 1990; buried at Shenandoah. Lived for many years in Riverton. His wife was Bertha F. Irwin who he married on June 19, 1926. William Charles Caish married Martha Ella Williams: Their daughter Martha Gertrude, born at Emporia, VA, on July 7, 1897 died Jun 14, 1990, married Charles Maynard Barlowe on Sept. 8, 1919.
