June 1, 1933. "Sidney News".--(1). M. M. Thornton and son Irmil were summoned to Omaha Monday morning by the illness of Ralph Woods, who is Mr. Thornton's son-in-law. Mr. Woods was taken to a hospital and it is understood here that he is suffering from a heart ailment.....(2). Mr. and Mrs. George Goodin and Mrs. Mattie Byars attended a family dinner at the George Beam home in Riverton Friday. Other guests included Mrs. Tom Catlett and daughter Dorothy from Hamburg. Mrs. Byars remained at the home of her niece to visit till Saturday evening.
