August 6, 1936. "Randolph News".--(1).--Wayne Livingston of Omaha visited his mother, Mrs. Mary Johnston, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Livingston and family were also guest at the Johnston home.....(2).--Clark Dodd left Tuesday for a visit at the home of his brother Roland at Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He will also visit in Bridgeport. The trip was made on his motorcycle....(3).--William Bass has a fine collection of Indian relics and is well versed on Indian lore. He recently gave a talk over a Shenandoah radio station on a program sponsored by Rev. Peter Jacobs....(4).--D. W. Thomas drove to York, Nebraska, Monday to bring his wife home. Mrs. Thomas had spent two weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Lee Clark, while Mr. Clark was in camp at Ashland.....(5).--Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ford visited Mrs. Ford's mother, Mrs. T. A. Rhode, Friday at St. Joseph hospital in Omaha. Mrs. Barabara Ford, accompanied them and visited at the Jack Ford home in Council Ford.....(6).! --Mr. and Mrs. Dwight McCracken left Thursday for their home in Chillicothe, Missouri, taking with them their sons, Scotty and Glen, who had been spending their vacation at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.S. McCracken....(7).--Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Holloway and three daughters left Monday for an auto trip to White Pine, Tennessee. They will visit their parents and other relatives and take in many points of interest. They expect to be gone a month or longer.....(8).--Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Inman of Rock Springs, Wyoming, brought Mr. Inman's father home from his visit in the west. Mr. Inman visited Yellowstone park, Salt Lake City, Ogden and many other places of interest. He stood the trip well and had a wonderful time....(9).--Mr. and Mrs. Fred Coffee and family who have been guests at the E.J. Rossiter home left Thursday for their home in Newcastle, Wyoming. Mrs. Coffee's brother, Frank Lesley of Peoria, Illinois, who came to the Rossister home for a visit with his s! ister and family and his mother, Mrs. Mary Lesley, returned to his home Sunday....(10).--Among the out-of-town relatives attending the Williamson funeral services Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Williamson and son of Red Oak, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gonghnour of Grinnell, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Stokesberry and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Stokesberry, Mr. and Mrs. George Slattery, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Litton, all of Gallatin, Missouri.
