RE: Mable Bridges card file. Item 4 is about my ggrandfather's family. He was originally from VA and came to Iowa via Ohio. Items 1, 2 & 3 are about the Johns' who are members of the Hugh Copeland line, originally from NC who migrated to Iowa via Indiana. I believe items 1 & 2 refers to John Fletcher Copeland who later died in Coffeeville, KS. I think item 3 is yet another John Copeland. I just picked up some more data re: a great uncle, Sterling Lee Copeland and his wifes family. She was the daughter of Samuel E. Reed whose obituary you recently published. One of my strongest "brick walls" is the death of my great grandmother, Emaline (Wise) Copeland, 22 SEP 1877....was it in Fremont county?? Aything in the Percival obits? She is buried in South English, Keokuk, IA. Thank you.
