Mead, 73, (well known) farmer of the Percival (community), passed away at this home (__?__) night at 9:30 after an illlness (of) several years duration. Mr. Mead was born on (__?__), 1857, in Pike county, (__?__). He came to Fremont county (with) his parents, the Mr. and Mrs. Talbert Mead, when a (small boy). On March 23, 1892, he was (married) to Miss Addie A. Smith (from) Nebraska City. Mrs. Mead (departed) this life a number of years (ago.) He is survived by three (children), Mrs. Viola Lane, Walter (Mead) and Ralph L. Mead, all (__?__, and) four sisters, Mrs. M (__?__) of Syracuse, Nebraska; Mrs. (__?__) McMunn, Mrs. Jane Wertz, (and) Ollie Kelsey of Percival; (__?__) brothers, John of Dunbar, (Nebraska); Talbert, Samuel and (__?__) of Percival; Joseph of (__?__), Frank of Hamburg, and (__?__) of Nebraska City. Funeral services were (held at) the home Wednesday morning, F.M. Sisson in charge. (Pall) bearers were six nephews (of the) deceased.
