H. Reed celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Tuesday, March 1st. Three of their children were able to be present for the anniversary dinner and two nieces of Mrs. Reed and their husbands. The children were Mr. and Mrs. Ross Reed and son of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Albert (sic...should be Elbert) Reed and two sons of Randolph and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reed of Percival; also grandsons, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Reed of Sidney and Jack Smith of Shenandoah, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schooley and daughters of McPaul. Nieces were Mr. and Mrs. John Morris of Nemaha, Neb. and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Anderson of Union, Neb. Mr. and Mrs. Reed received many lovely gifts and flowers. During the day many neighbors and friends called to wish them many more anniversaries.
