August 6, 1936. "Farragut News".--(1).--Mr. and Mrs. Don Kendall of Shenandoah were Sunday dinner guests at the home of her paretns, Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Darland....(2).--Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Bickett and son left Saturday for Los Angeles where they will visit at the home of his sister, Mrs. Harvey Clark....(3).--Mrs. Marie Cutler and her two daughters left Thursday for Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they will visit Mrs. Cutler's sister, Mrs. F.F. Griffith.....(4).--Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Whisler announce the marriage of their daughter, Lahuna Belle, to William Talcott of Jerrerson, which took place Wednesday, August 5, at the home of her parents. Miss Whisler is a graduate of Simpson college in 1934. She taught public school music at Huxley one year and at Stratford this past year. Mr. Talcott teaches music in the school at Waukee, where the couple will make their home. A miscellaneous shower will be given at the home of Mrs. J.F. Shepherd on Friday evening.
