June 8, 1933. "Thurman News".--(1). Mrs. Rose Mann and family are enjoying a visit this week from her sister, Mrs. Myrtle Reed, of Council Bluffs....(2). Mrs. M. R. Adamson and daughter Lota Mae went the latter part of the week to Villisca to spend a week with her mother, Mrs. John Bogue....(3). Sam and Dorsey Gardner came over from Barney, Iowa, Saturday to visit a few days with their brothers, Fred and George Gardner, and their sister, Mrs. Emma Adamson....(4). Miss Eva Bennett, whose home is in Auburn, Nebraska, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Phillip Bachler, and family, and on Sunday the family and their guest spent the day with Mrs. Nellie Herker....(5). Eula VanSant went to Sidney on Friday to attend the eighth grade graduation exercises. Three of her former pupils took part. From Sidney Mrs.VanSant went to Tabor to help care for her aunt, Mrs. Laura Gaylord, who is quite ill.....(6). Mrs. Eunice Surface of Union, Nebraska, Mrs. Sarah Johnson o! f Glenwood, Clyde Jackson and family and J. Pitts of Plattsmouth; Mrs. Nettie Hindman and family of Pacific Junction were among the out-of-town people who attended the funeral of J. H. Bachler Wednesday.
