    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Libby, Reed, StJohn, Johns, Koons (Taneborn?) Gerot? Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ok.2ADE/1624.1.1 Message Board Post: Hello, Regarding your Samuel Reed or the funeral in 1923..At this time do you know if a relative was pregnant or came from England to US via Canada to see him but her letter of pending arrival was still in the mailbox when she arrived as he had passed away before she got there..She would have already had a son of about 8 years old named John or Johnny StJohn or Johns..She would also have been about 3 months pregnant with my mother's sister Henrietta Florence as Henrietta was born in December of 1923. Do you know if he or family was originally from England then came to US via Canada. Did any relatives live in Ohio...Have you ever heard of Agnes Reed which would have been his step daughter or his wife's daughter or real daughter..Agnes was born June 16, 1889 or 1890. her first husband was supposedly killed Jacques Bernerd StJohn or Johns whom she had her first born son with born about 1915. Agnes was to have had a set of twins who died during the war of England and/or her! mother my greatgrandmother could also have been a twin. Story was told that her grandmother or Aunt died of Lock jaw. Ellen was to be a 'bad-luck' name...Laura was also mentioned as a relative...but I do remember my mother who was born 10/22/1925 in Ava, Illinois, telling me that Margarett was a relative...my mother never met her relatives nor did I meet my grandparents or her halfbrother or sister. My mom and her sister look like twins however, my mom's birth record lists her father as Howard C Koons who would have been born around 187? and Agnes 1889 or 1890. Agnes passed away in Billings, Montana in 1941 September. Agnes' birthday was June 16, I believe I do know it was in June. Her mother (Agnes' mother) was married before to a Libby or first a Reed then a Libby...Agnes was said to have several brothers I don't know about sisters. William, Charles, Thomas and/or John and maybe Charles William Reed in (I thought) Ohio. There was a Brownie that was Howard's best f! riend or cousin or relative who came to the house to announce the death of someone; possibly Howard's death around 30 or give or take a year or two. Please if any of this sounds familiar, please write me Andrade1225@aol.com Thank you, p.s. Howard C Koons if this was his name was from Pennslvania that is what's on my mom's birth certificate.
