Her name was Winona (REED) SMITH, and she was born in Percival, IA in 1927 to Samuel Robert (went by Robert or Bob) REED and Cora Mae (went by Mae) (McBETH) REED. She married Jack SMITH. She died on 11/11/1948 at her parents' home of cancer of the stomach at such a young age of 21 years. She is buried in the Sidney Cemetery in the same Lot as my grandparents (Robert & Mae REED) are buried, in the S.W. corner of the cemetery.
