He's listed with wife Emma. He was 78 yrs old. My James B. Adams abandoned his family sometime after 1870 and I'm wondering if this is the same one as he'd be about the same age and born same state. He and Emma were married abt 1886 according to the 1900 census. It's been said that my James B. Adams was a Methodit precher but I've never found anything to say he was. However, this James B. Adams in Fremont county in 1900 is listed as being a minister and gardener?. Last time I know of my James B. Adams was 1870 in Tama county. Oh, and the census says the James B. Adams in Fremont owned his home, if that would help in checking land records. Thank you for any assistance. Ron
