I'm copying the following from Mabel's notes. 1.--1846: Milton Richards came to Fremont county in 1846, located on his present (1881) farm, which he purchased from A. H. Argyle, in section 22.--History of Fremont county, pagd 748. 2.--1849: Milton Richards elected clerk of District Court at the first election, April 1849.--Lingenfelter, page 8; Hist. of Fremont county, 1881, page 373.
