Marriage Book A, page 54 2.--1854: Fremont county Census, "Madison township" Anthony Jordan....4m....4f.....1 voter....1 militia.... no aliens 3.--1856: Iowa State Census, Fremont county, "Madison township" Anthony Jordan....31....b. VA....6 years in the State Nancy.................36.........Ill Lorancy Watts.....16.........MO Nancy Watts........14........MO Mary....................12........MO Chunchel Watts......9........Iowa Allen......................7........Iowa Charlotte Jordan.....1.........Iowa N.B.: Notice that the enumerator slippped up when he let the number of years that Anthony had been in the State, stand as the number that his wife had been an Iowan!.--W.F.
