"Burlington Mail Contract Renewed".--Yesterday the postmater general awarded the contract for carrying the transcontinental mails to the Burlington railroad. Thus the Rock Island fight on the Burlington that has raged the past month is over, and the fast mails will toot through Mills county the same as of yore. The Rock Island fast mial train which went into service Jan. 25 is not much of a mail train when compared with those running on the Burlington main line. It has one mail car, a baggage and express car and four coaches. The Burlington fast mail trains are composed of from four to six exclusive mail cars.
