My greatgrandmother was a twin. Her brother's name was Jerry Burk. My greatgrandparents had three children, Alice, Clarence, and Walter (my grandfather). Alice married a man by the name of Wilkerson and lived in Fort Collins, Colorado around 1909. Alice had a daughter named Nova. Clarence married a lady named Edna (I do not know here last name), and they had two children, Dorothy and Helen. My grandparents went to see Alice in Colorado, and that is where in 1909 my uncle Jess was born. They left Colorado shortly after my uncle was born and moved back to Hamburg and Fremont County Iowa, where they lived until going to Eureka, California in 1939. My greatgrandma remaired a man named Hegeson, and my grandparents came out to California to care for him after my greatgrandmother died. It has been my understanding that my greatgrandfather, Jesse, left the family and my grandfather was raised in the home of his grandmother Burk. I would appreciate any information you could tell me about Jesse, where he was born, year and where he married. Thank you, Barbara J. (Stanbrough) Schiavone
