Feb. 15, 1907. "Riverton News".--Bert Allison, an old soldier who has been living by himself in the house just south of the Gladstone hotel, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Harrison Utterback, south east of town, Sunday night. Mr. Allison has been in poor health for a number of years with a complication of diseases, which caused his death as above stated. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. H. H. Chaney and Mrs. Harrison Utterback, and a daughter to mourn his departure. Funeral services were conducted at Mt.Zion church at 11 o'clock Tuesday and the remains were laid to rest in the Mt. Zion cemtery. Second: From the "Herald": THE FREMONT COUNTY HERALD. Feb. 15, 1907. "Death of Thomas H. Benton Allison".--Died, at the home of his sister, Mrs. May A. Utterback, Feb. 11, 1907, Thomas H. Benton Allison, aged 62 years, 9 months, 18 days. He was born in Holt county, Mo., and on December 25, 1873, was united in marriage to Harriet Wolf and to them three children were born, two of whom died in infancy. His wife departed this life on September 18, 1883. He leaves to mourn one daughter, four sisters and one brother. The funeral was conducted by Rev. M. R. Harned, of Riverton, Tuesday the 12th inst., in the presence of a goodly number of friends of the deceased. Interment was made in the Utterback cemetery.
